New York City indie folk musician Rebecca Karpen shares a story of self-discovery and redemption in her new single, ’23.’
Folk singer-songwriter Rebecca Karpen, known for her witty and honest music, has released her first new single since 2022’s ‘Fernweh (Remastered and Razzle Dazzled).’ Clocking in at a mesmerizing seven minutes, the ballad explores Karpen’s journey, shedding light on her struggles with what she describes as her “Christ Complex for the Ages.” Written by Rebecca Karpen, ’23’ was brought to life through the collaborative efforts of producer/mixer Jake Tavill and mastering engineer Gabi Grella.
