Melbourne 5-piece Rancid Eddie release ‘Tiger Love’
Melbourne’s Rancid Eddie take a laid-back approach and delivers a tender ballad, ‘Tiger Love.’
In the wake of their viral TikTok videos and their smash hit, ‘Dry,’ Rancid Eddie have released their third single of 2022, ‘Tiger Love.’ Unlike previous incarnations, this time the band has created a stripped down, laid-back version of themselves. The tender track gives us a glimpse into their lighter side.
Lead signer and guitarist Matt Sturrock shares his thoughts on the track,
“Ed and I wrote this during the first covid lockdown as a laid back acoustic ballad that came out of a bathroom sesh. Usually turning the acoustics into full band songs is a pain in the ass but once we all got around to the song at band practice I knew this had the potential to be mixed with the rancid herbs and spices. It didn’t take us long to pull together the perfect blend that gives this tune the kick in the guts you need for what the song is all about.”
