The Coral’s Paul Molloy releases first solo single in four years, ‘Luxury Bunker’

‘Luxury Bunker’ is taken from the forthcoming album, The Madmen Of Apocalypso, set for release on September 6, 2024.
Paul Molloy of The Coral returns with a new solo venture, heralded by the release of his doom-baiting, satirical single, ‘Luxury Bunker.’ The track marks the first new music from Molloy in four years, following the critical success of his debut album, The Fifth Dandelion, released during lockdown.
Molloy explains:
“The song is about an extremely delusional and paranoid man (probably suffering from PTSD) who is under the illusion that the human race is depending on him and on his survival, solely, to avoid complete extinction. He therefore acquires himself a hazmat suit and builds a ‘Luxury Bunker’ which he never emerges from again. Even to take out the bins.”
‘Luxury Bunker’ is out now.
