Oslo Twins unveil hypnotic single ‘All In Your Mind’ ahead of vinyl release
London-based indie-dance group Oslo Twins release their new single, ‘All In Your Mind,’ digitally today via Half-Normal Records. The track precedes a limited 7″ vinyl with B-side ‘Sirens,’ out 15th October.
‘All In Your Mind’ builds on the success of their semi-viral Tresor EP, featuring ‘I Wake Up Slowly,’ which nears a million streams and received extensive European airplay. The single highlights Oslo Twins’ shift from Bristol indie to London electronica, blending industrial beats with intimate vocals from Claudia Vulliamy. Recorded with Eric C. Davies in East London, Vulliamy’s phone-recorded vocals add a grainy, nostalgic texture.
Claudia Vulliamy explains:
“I approached the song with ideas of nostalgia and our blurred images of the past. This got me looking at a corner of the internet where people curate photos that are eerily reminiscent of a childhood memory, often low-res photos of empty spaces from the 2000s, as well as the similar ‘liminal’ aesthetic. I was interested in how we construct vague fantasies from incomplete memories or narratives. Vocally, I wanted it to feel like a conversation caught on record and turned into a song.”
