Nick Zanca shares ‘You Two’ single and video
The track is the second single from his forthcoming album, Hindsight, set for release on August 2 via American Dreams.
Accompanied by a minimalistic self-directed music video, ‘You Two’ is a love song exploring the complexities of opening up a previously closed relationship. On it, Zanca delves into the nuances of non-monogamous dynamics.
He reveals:
“I was drawn to write this after coming to realize that not much music has been written about non-monogamous dynamics, let alone from an affirmative perspective. Like any other form of love, the foundation of open relationships involves emotional labor of all walks: the navigation of jealousy, the attempt to unlearn one’s attachment styles and ego, and the promotion of personal freedom and transparent communication. Put more simply, this song reflects on what it means to put in the work for the people that you love.”
‘You Two’ is out now. Hindsight is set for release on August 2 via American Dreams.
