Neva Dinova announces first new album in 16 years / shares new track ‘Edge of Something’

Today, Omaha greats Neva Dinova have announced Canary, their first album with all new material in 16 years. Canary is set to arrive on September 27 via Saddle Creek.
‘Edge of Something’ marks a significant return for Neva Dinova, a band that has long been beloved but has not always enjoyed the same level of name recognition as their Omaha peers like Bright Eyes and Cursive. Their latest track, and the album it heralds, is set to change that.
Neva Dinova’s Jake Bellows states that the song describes:
“A person that feels unappreciated and sad and angry, possibly having a psychotic break… commits to making some kind of unknown change. Thinking life could be better. The irony here is that it gets much worse. A very brave fool.”
‘Edge of Something’ is out now. Canary is set to arrive on September 27, 2024.
