Nathan Ball releases new single ‘Stateline’
The track is now available on all major streaming platforms and marks the first release from his upcoming EP, Lost Track of Time, under V2 Records.
Critically acclaimed singer/songwriter Nathan Ball has just released his latest single, ‘Stateline.’ Featuring jangly guitars and driving percussion that create an all-encompassing atmosphere, the track glows with warmth. Written while on tour in Australia, Nathan drew inspiration from life on the road, capturing the spirit of long dusty roads, new people, and new experiences.
Nathan shares:
“It’s an adaptation of the story of Icarus ignoring advice and flying too close to the sun and meeting his demise. It’s a coming-of-age love song about dreaming your life away and the innocent beauty of young love, only to be brought back down to earth and all its reality.”
