Experimental Los Angeles indie artist MYKA drops ‘american kids,’ a layered track with deep and fuzzy basslines.
Greensboro, North Carolina native MYKA has released a hypnotic new single with deep synths and expansive soundscapes, ‘american kids.’ The track, his first single of 2022, is a look at life and whether as a young adult you should leave the comforts of home.
MYKA confesses:
“I’ve always felt like I was in two places at once growing up, so it allowed me to see two sides of what being a young kid in America was like. Those two perspectives are where I drew inspiration for this song, the dreamer and the conformist.”
‘american kids’ is available on all streaming services today.
