South Korean-Australian artist Munan continues to tease his upcoming EP with the release of ‘Naked,’ a dynamic blend of indie and psychedelic rock that highlights his intricate musicianship and playful songwriting.
Beneath its smooth and infectious production, ‘Naked’ explores the unease of feeling exposed—especially in the digital age. Munan crafted the song through experimentation with old-school hip-hop drum loops, building on a bass groove that became its backbone.
“The term ‘naked’ in this song represents something I want to keep hidden from the public. We all have insecurities, and when they’re exposed, it can impact us in different ways. Some people weaponize them, while others learn to embrace them—but many withdraw, becoming more isolated.”
