Munan unveils energetic new single ‘Fake Love Friday Night’

South Korean-Australian artist Munan has shared his latest single, ‘Fake Love Friday Night,’ offering a fresh glimpse into his upcoming EP.
Built around a dynamic guitar riff and an anthemic chorus, ‘Fake Love Friday Night’ disguises its raw emotional core beneath its vibrant sound. The song delves into the painful reality of a one-sided relationship, capturing frustration and longing with a mix of catchy melodies and heartfelt storytelling.
Reflecting on the track, Munan shares:
“I had the idea of ‘Fake Love Friday Night’ for a long time. I’ve gone through numerous demos to find the right feeling for the meaning. I had the guitar riff looping at first, and from there, I started writing out the story of a man who has had enough of just being a ‘fling’.”
With this latest release, Munan continues to carve out his space in the indie music scene, balancing emotional depth with undeniable hooks. More details on his upcoming EP are expected soon. ‘Fake Love Friday Night’ is out now on all streaming platforms.
