Milkshed. dive into the dark side of social media on new single ‘Do It Again’

Alt-rock trio milkshed. are back with their latest release, ‘Do It Again,’ a raw and energetic single that explores the toxic grip of social media.
Recorded live in one take by Grammy-winning engineer Dyre Gormsen, ‘Do It Again’ opens with a fierce grunge riff, before plunging into an ominous drumbeat that reflects the song’s dark themes. The track dives into the destructive nature of social media, with lyrics like “All you ever wanted, all you ever needed, thinking you’re iconic, just to get defeated,” capturing the pressure and pitfalls of online culture.
Frontman Cam Gallaher describes the inspiration behind the song:
“Social media’s a huge part of today’s culture that we as musicians are told we need to embrace to succeed, but it’s not without its pitfalls. Making music is an escape for me, but promoting it means dealing with social media’s addictive nature.”
‘Do It Again’ is available on your favorite DSP starting today.
