Midnight Pool Party returns with quiet heartbreak into dance floor glow on ‘NOTICE ME’
The Australian disco and dance duo return with a track that seamlessly blends upbeat grooves with reflective songwriting, continuing their signature blend of feel-good production and emotionally charged themes.
Built around polished synth textures and rhythmic disco-inspired instrumentation, ‘NOTICE ME’ pairs dance floor energy with introspective lyricism. Written toward the end of last year, just before the duo took a Christmas break, the track came together once the central hook and theme were established. The song centers on the familiar emotional tension of wanting attention from someone who does not share the same feelings, exploring the internal conflict between vulnerability and self-protection.
The band explains:
“After the break, we spent a lot of time talking about the lyrics and finding the right words to capture the emotions of the journey you go through in a certain situation. Love is universal, but so is the experience of not being noticed, and hiding how deeply it affects you.”
‘NOTICE ME’ stands as the duo’s latest release and captures a relatable emotional moment through shimmering production and understated lyricism. The track is available to stream now on all major platforms.
