Mewn release ‘Swell’ and announce new EP
Manchester art-rock quintet release first new track of 2022, ‘Swell’ / Announce their third EP scheduled for release on October 7 via Simonie Records.
Manchester’s Mewn have released their third and final single (‘Swell’) from their upcoming EP, Such As This. The song is a gentle track that expands and contracts over the four-and-a-half minutes.
Speaking ahead of their single release, frontman Daniel Bluer stated:
“It’s about control and lack of it, hurtling around without the ability to change the direction. I sometimes feel like I’ve blinked and so much has transpired without much conscious decision-making. Swell is a reflection on how this makes me feel”
Mewn’s ‘Swell’ is out September 27th via Simonie Records and will be available on all digital platforms. Such As This EP is set for release October 7th.
