Mayday Parade continues their 20th anniversary celebration with the release of their new single ‘One Day At A Time,’ the latest preview from their upcoming album Sad, set to arrive on October 3.

Reflective and steeped in nostalgia, the track navigates life’s highs and lows while acknowledging the inevitable changes that come with growing older. ‘One Day At A Time’ follows ‘Under My Sweater,’ an old-school emo anthem that nods to early 2000s pop punk. Together, the singles highlight how Sad leans into atmosphere and introspection while still holding onto the soaring melodies, sharp hooks, and emotional honesty that have defined Mayday Parade’s career.

Guitarist Brooks Betts describes it as:

“A song about growing through life and getting better as you go. Correcting the past mistakes and understanding that life changes and evolves. It’s self-reflection and knowing that no one is perfect.”

‘One Day At A Time’ is out now. Sad arrives October 3.
