Renowned sound artist, punk poet, and visual artist Mary Ocher has announced her upcoming album Your Guide to Revolution, set for release on July 19th (US/Worldwide) and June 14th (EU) via Underground Institute. The album, which transcends the boundaries between pop and avant-garde music, features a collection of politically charged concept tracks that offer both avant-pop anthems and adventurous sonic explorations.
The lead single, ‘Sympathize,’ featuring Your Government, addresses the trivialization of civilian deaths by cynical politicians. Accompanied by a hauntingly captivating music video, the track challenges listeners to reflect on the current state of society and the power dynamics at play.
