Maneater delivers bittersweet realizations on new single ‘Good Things’

Vancouver-based duo Maneater has shared their new single ‘Good Things,’ offering a glimpse into the biting, emotionally resonant sound of their upcoming debut album Curb Your Appetite.
‘Good Things’ is a simmering track that balances sharp sarcasm with mournful introspection. The song captures the hollow moment when someone you’ve tried to understand fails to meet you halfway, revealing the cracks in trust and the emotional cost of caring too much. With its mix of searing riffs, fuzz-laden production, and deceptively sweet vocals, the track conveys both resignation and quiet anger, reflecting the complexities of broken connections and self-reflection.
The band explains:
“‘Good Things’ is biting, bitter, and quietly mournful. Beneath its sharp-tongued, halfway-sarcastic title lies the aching realization that the person you worked so hard to understand never really showed up in return.”
‘Good Things’ is available now on your favorite DSP.
