Magana releases her latest single ‘Paul,’ a deeply personal track from upcoming album Teeth

Released today, the track is a glimpse into Magana’s forthcoming album, Teeth, set to be released on March 25th through Audio Antihero Records.
Jeni Magaña, esteemed for her roles as the bassist for Mitski and Lady Lamb, ventures into new sonic territories with ‘Paul,’ blending elements of Witchy Rock, Ghost Pop, and Acid Folk. Embarking on her solo journey, ‘Paul’ showcases Magana’s artistry and her growth as an independent artist. Inspired by the premature loss of a dear friend, the track delves into the complexities of navigating grief of a friend gone too early.
In Magaña’s own words:
“This song is for my friend, who dealt with death too early. These are her words, and I processed them by turning them into a song.”
‘Paul’ is now available for streaming, while the eagerly awaited Teeth is slated for release on March 25th via Audio Antihero.
