Produced in collaboration with Sammy Witte, known for his work with artists like Maggie Rodgers and Harry Styles, ‘Close My Eyes’ offers a glimpse into Hemmings’ journey through the complexities of growing up.

As anticipation mounts for his upcoming solo EP, boy, Luke Hemmings unveils his latest track, ‘Close My Eyes,’ accompanied by a poignant visualizer. In ‘Close My Eyes,’ Hemmings delves into the apprehension and introspection that accompany the transition into adulthood.

He shares:

“I’m elated to share the next chapter from boy – a song called ‘Close My Eyes.’ I wrote this as I headed into my late 20s and felt an unavoidable wave of fear and anxiety towards the inevitable death of my youth. I found myself unable to sleep because every time I tried; it was as if a film of my life was projected onto the back of my eyelids. The mistakes, successes, everything that could have been, and everything that was. I felt physical growing pains of becoming a fully realized version of myself while having to say goodbye to the past.”

‘Close My Eyes’ is out now. boy is scheduled for release in April.
