Loving share new single ‘Blue’
‘Blue’ is out now via Last Gang Records/MNRK.
Releasing their first new music in three years, Canadian duo Loving share an atmospheric new single ‘Blue.’ Composed of Jesse Henderson and guitarist/multi-instrumentalist David Parry, Loving began in 2016 as a long-distance (Victoria, BC/Toronto, ON) recording project.
Here they are discussing the track:
“We found ‘Blue’ like an old photograph lost in a journal— a nearly indecipherable voice memo we had skipped over. It had a feeling and allure…the blueness, depth, dizziness, and containment of a new love,” explains singer/lyricist Jesse Henderson. “Some of our recent songs play with the distortions and grandeur of romance, giving in, pushing back. This one gives in.”
‘Blue’ is out now via Last Gang Records/MNRK. Loving will head out on tour throughout Europe and the UK in support of Alice Phoebe Lou beginning next week. More news from the band will be announced soon.
