South London’s Lip Filler has launched into 2025 with their latest single, ‘Leeches.’ The track, a snarling indie-rock anthem, continues the momentum built with their previous release, ‘Tricky,’ and sets the stage for a new project expected later this year.

‘Leeches’ delivers seething energy, blending impassioned vocal lines from frontman George Tucker with fiery rap bars and a propulsive rhythm section. Tucker’s lyrics swing from frustration to desperation, as he laments, “I can’t even wait / I’m sick of spinning plates,” and declares, “I can’t take these leeches.” The track’s intensity is underscored by scorching guitar riffs and relentless pacing, showcasing Lip Filler’s bold approach to songwriting.

Tucker explains:

“Leeches is about someone who’s lost control of the wheel. Letting their bad habits and insecurities get the better of them until they can no longer trust anyone, damaging the relationships of everyone they hold dearest.”

‘Leeches’ is out now, and fans can catch Lip Filler live at the Shacklewell Arms in London on January 17th, curated by The Murder Capital.
