Linying releases mesmerizing title track ‘Swim, Swim’

Los Angeles-via-Singapore artist Linying has shared ‘Swim, Swim,’ the title track from her forthcoming album, set for release on April 4 via Nettwerk.
Built on punchy beats and manipulated sounds from an old piano, ‘Swim, Swim’ reflects Linying’s evolution as an artist, embracing raw emotion and sonic experimentation. The track is a powerful declaration, with Linying explaining, “I like fun. I hate blurred lines. I’m saying, ‘Get on your knees and get your act together, or you can forget about it.'”
The single is a preview of Swim, Swim, Linying’s first full-length album since 2022’s There Could Be Wreckage Here. Inspired by a transformative period spent on the island of Siargao, the album explores themes of self-discovery, femininity, and emotional surrender.
