Los Angeles-via-Singapore artist Linying has unveiled ‘Blondie,’ the high-spirited lead single from her upcoming sophomore album, Swim, Swim, set for release on April 4, 2025, via Nettwerk.
‘Blondie’ is a dazzling showcase of Linying’s voice, narrating a day spent swimming in a lagoon with a stranger. The track explores the tension between outward joy and inner complexity, as Linying reflects on the layers of self hidden beneath lighthearted interactions. Set against lush dream-pop production, the song captures the sublime and unsettling emotions of revealing vulnerability in a fleeting connection.
