Returning with his third single of 2024, Lemonade Baby is back with a vibrant new single, ‘Seeing Double,’ featuring Ronnie Sinclair.

Released on August 8th via Mammal Sounds Records, ‘Seeing Double’ marks the latest collaboration between the Australian artist and Sinclair, also known as Alistair Seawright from Safety Club. The track was born out of a spontaneous studio session where creativity flowed effortlessly. Lemonade Baby invited Sinclair to the studio, where a guitar pedal handcrafted by Lemonade Baby’s father sparked the creation of the track’s infectious intro riff. The song quickly took shape as Lemonade Baby laid down the drums and Sinclair crafted the bassline, followed by both artists contributing their verses and chorus. Remarkably, the entire track was completed in just two hours, with Sinclair leaving the final mix to Lemonade Baby.

Sinclair describes the song as a reflection on the frustration of miscommunication, explaining:

“It’s really a breakdown of communication when you’re trying to find common ground but you’re just passing by each other again and again. And you feel like you’re going insane at a point. The frustration of being so close but, yet so far.”

‘Seeing Double’ is out now on your favorite DSP.
