Laney Jones and the Spirits release ‘Another Rolling Stone’ ahead of first U.S. headline tour

Nashville rockers deliver searing manifesto with one-take music video as tour kicks off July 16.
Nashville-based Laney Jones and the Spirits have released their new single ‘Another Rolling Stone,’ a carefree rocker that embodies the band’s gather-no-moss attitude through raw energy and bravado. The track serves as a mission statement for the genre-defying songwriter and her band ahead of their first U.S. headline tour. Accompanied by a spontaneous one-take music video filmed on Nashville’s Broadway, the release captures the band’s live intensity and rowdy exploration of their home city.
Laney Jones says:
“This song was written early one morning, in the inspiring throes of recording our last album, Stories Up High, back in December 2020. It was one of those songs that just popped out into existence. It was my mission statement. Where I wanted to head next sonically. What I want to do with my life…be another link in the chain of lifer musicians, committed to the craft.”
Their 19-date headline tour kicks off July 16 at Chicago’s Cobra Lounge, featuring stops in Los Angeles, Seattle, and multiple performances at Oregon’s beloved Pickathon festival. The tour marks a significant milestone for the band as they continue building their national presence with their blend of indie and psychedelic rock.
‘Another Rolling Stone’ is available now on all streaming platforms, with the music video available to watch online.
