Kishi Bashi releases ‘Comin’ To You’ and announces 2026 Sonderlust anniversary tour
Kishi Bashi (Kaoru Ishibashi) has released his new single ‘Comin’ To You’ today (October 15, 2025), a previously unheard B-side from his acclaimed 2016 album Sonderlust, out now via Joyful Noise Recordings. The release coincides with the announcement of a 2026 headlining tour celebrating the album’s 10th anniversary, which will include performances at Boise’s Treefort Music Fest and Knoxville’s Big Ears Festival before wrapping in Atlanta, GA. Tickets go on sale Friday, October 17.
Built around a frenetic looped sample and Ishibashi’s soaring vocals, ‘Comin’ To You’ channels the experimental energy and playfulness that defined Sonderlust. The track reflects the record’s embrace of synths, sampling, and layered arrangements—a sound that marked a turning point in Kishi Bashi’s evolution as both producer and performer.
