Kid Sistr return with their new single ‘Maniac,’ a grunge-infused punk anthem from their upcoming EP American Teenage Prophecy, out May 13, 2026 via Giant Music.

Featuring Sabel Englert (vocals/guitar), Sara Keden (bass), and Becca Webster (drums), ‘Maniac’ is a high-energy track built around grunge riffs, heavy breakdowns, and an anthemic, scream-along chorus. The song captures the frustration and empowerment of ending a toxic relationship, blending raw punk attitude with precise instrumental execution. The accompanying video, premiered via FLOOD Magazine, visually amplifies the track’s intensity, delivering a kinetic and unapologetic aesthetic that mirrors the band’s sonic aggression.

The band says it’s:

“…a grungy head nodder with a scream along chorus. It’s the soundtrack to finally dumping him and swearing off men forever. Maniac can be used as an emergency intervention for when your friend keeps getting back together with *that* guy. Put it on volume 11 and repeat as needed.”

‘Maniac’ is out now on all streaming platforms, with American Teenage Prophecy arriving May 13, 2026.
