Liverpool-based four-piece Keyside have released their latest single ‘Rock My Love,’ out now on Modern Sky. The song arrives as the band kicks off their first major UK headline tour, which runs through November and December 2025.

Drawing on a deep well of personal experience, ‘Rock My Love’ tells urgent tales from Britain’s frontline against hopelessness, addiction, and benefits dependency. Known for their socially conscious songwriting wrapped in contagious melodies, Keyside once again merge emotive realism with buoyant pop sensibilities. Built around meticulous riffs, poetic lyricism, and earworm chord progressions, the single radiates a message of redemption through art. Themes of abandonment and recovery unfold over glassy guitars and soaring hooks, echoing the bittersweet essence of The La’s and The Cure at their melodic best.

Frontman Dani-Lee Parker explains:

“The character in the song has hit rock bottom, struggling with addiction and unemployed, but she finds a way to live again through a love of photography. It’s autobiographical in some ways as music has been a path to lead me away from being lost on dark roads. I journal a lot, which I started after reading ‘Meditations’ by Marcus Aurelius. By reading I found that I wanted to write. It’s a necessity for me and out of that habit that the lyrics for songs like this can turn into songs.”

Keyside’s 13-date UK headline tour begins November 13 at Glasgow’s Oran Mor and includes several sold-out shows in Liverpool, London, Birmingham, and Bristol. Final tickets are available at keysidemusic.com/keyside-gigs.

‘Rock My Love’ is available now on all streaming platforms via Modern Sky.
