Katzin releases his new single ‘Nantucket,’ out now, as the New York–based project of songwriter Zion Battle continues to preview the debut album Buckaroo, due February 13th via Mexican Summer.

‘Nantucket’ arrives as the third single from Buckaroo, following earlier releases ‘Anna’ and ‘Wild Horses.’ The track reflects the album’s wide-lens approach to American imagery, touching on movement, reflection, and the uneasy space between youth and adulthood. Built from rolling drums, textured guitars, and layered synthesizers, the song moves with a relaxed but deliberate pace, pairing understated melodies with lyrics that suggest emotional recalibration after excess or escape.

Speaking about the song, Battle says:

“‘Nantucket’ is about a comedown, sobering up, perhaps washing up on a familiar shore. Several coastlines are implied in the lyrics, both east and west. It’s also about Meghan Trainor because she’s obviously the only girl who’s really from Nantucket. It’s all about that bass, no treble.”

‘Nantucket’ is available now to stream on all major platforms, alongside an official music video.
