New York City experimental trio Kassie Krut returns with ‘Hooh Beat’ – Panda Bear Remix, the lead single from their forthcoming Expanded EP, out June 6th via Fire Talk Records.
The track is a reinvention of one of the most intense cuts from Kassie Krut’s self-titled debut, now reimagined by their soon-to-be tourmate, veteran experimentalist Noah Lennox, aka Panda Bear. ‘Hooh Beat’ – Panda Bear Remix is a sauntering rework that takes the original’s “trance-like rhythms” to new heights. With melodic overdubs, additional verses, and a guttural scream from veteran artist Noah Lennox, ‘Hooh Beat’ – Panda Bear Remix solidifies Kassie Krut’s spot in a lineage of sonic experimentalists.
