Chicago-based dream-pop duo Immaterialize have released their new single ‘Everything But Myself’ (ft. Fire-Toolz), the final advance track from their debut album Perfect, out this Friday via Angel Tapes / Fire Talk.

‘Everything But Myself’ (ft. Fire-Toolz) introduces Angel Marcloid, aka Fire-Toolz, as a featured collaborator, expanding beyond her role as mastering engineer on Perfect. The track leans into a trance-inducing atmosphere, pairing layered, processed vocals with a steady, enveloping bassline. Lipsticism’s repeated refrain, “I shared everything but myself,” anchors the song as both confession and mantra, floating through ethereal production that reflects the duo’s dream-pop foundation while pushing into more hypnotic territory.

The single reflects the broader approach behind Perfect, which was recorded entirely at home by Immaterialize. Comprised of Lipsticism (Alana Schachtel) and DJ Immaterial (Erik Fure), the duo deliberately moved away from traditional band structures, relying instead on a tight collaborative circle. Alongside Fire-Toolz, they worked with Michael Mac for additional vocal processing, allowing the album’s sound to remain fluid, intimate, and unpolished in the most intentional sense.

‘Everything But Myself’ (ft. Fire-Toolz) is available now to stream on all major platforms.
