The track is a fast-paced, politically charged anthem that signals the upcoming release of their debut EP, Are You The Best Yet?

Manchester’s rising post-punk act HUNGRY delivers a powerful punch with their new single, ‘Sick Of It.’ Building on the momentum of their previous singles, such as ‘The Jig’ and ‘On Sight,’ this latest offering highlights HUNGRY’s frustration with societal norms, delivering their message through fuzzed-out guitars and relentless rhythm.

Frontman Jacob Peck explains the meaning behind Sick Of It, saying:

“This tune is short, snappy, and does what it says on the tin in under three minutes. Exactly how it should be. The character of in the first part of the song is a cog on the up and up through the rat race, where childlike wonderment has given way to an endless, adult nine-to-five existence. When we switch out of the character at the bridge, it’s more about us, our ambitions and ethics.

“We’re sick of structural career progression, capital gain, and physical symbols of success as they pull us away from our passions and personal ethics. But music gives us hope of creating a more meaningful life.”

‘Sick Of It’ is out now.
