Humane The Moon continues to build their back catalog with new single ‘Tear It Down’

Known for his raw vocals and grungy instrumentation, Humane The Moon’s new track embodies a quintessential indie-rock sound, drawing inspiration from bands like Fontaines D.C., Radiohead, and The Strokes.
‘Tear It Down’ showcases Humane The Moon’s distinctive sound, blending nostalgic indie tones with a modern twist. The track diverges slightly from his previous work, presenting a more mellow indie feel that highlights his raw vocal performance and melancholic guitar and drum accompaniment.
Speaking about the new track, Humane The Moon shares:
“‘Tear it down’ is sung from a pessimistic internal voice. Seems we all have that nauseating hum between the ears, you get used to blocking it out. So writing from that perspective was surprisingly cathartic. Puts some distance between it and you.
“This song came about in the practise room and on stage, It’s the first one that’s been written like that. Which was interesting whilst writing it, as it got tweaked constantly the more we played it. Usually, I record the songs first and then adapt the recordings to perform live. Doing it the other way round gave it some more freedom I reckon.”
Alongside the release of ‘Tear It Down,’ Humane The Moon has announced his upcoming second EP, Debris Joice, set to be released on September 13th.
