Hot Joy release an infectious track with debut single ‘Fingers On My Side’

The track is pulled from the bands’ debut EP, Small Favor, out 4/19.
Comprising Austin McCutchen, Nicole Bonura, Curt Oschner, and Wil McCarthy, the quartet brings forth an exhilarating blend of infectious melodies, muscular guitar theatrics, and unbridled exuberance. The lead single, ‘Fingers On My Side,’ sets the tone for what promises to be a significant moment in the Midwest indie-rock landscape.
‘Fingers On My Side’ serves as the EP’s playful opening track, providing listeners with a sweet and simple song capturing the authenticity of life’s smallest moments. Austin McCutchen describes the track as a reminder “that sometimes it’s a string of those smaller moments that make life seem so big.” The accompanying video, directed by Wil McCarthy, introduces audiences to Hot Joy’s visual identity, shot with an old Panasonic camcorder and featuring quick animations for added flair.
Hot Joy’s debut single and video ‘Fingers On My Side’ is out now. Their debut EP, Small Favor is slated for April 19th.
