Her New Knife drops ‘Vesselera’ remix by Silicone Valley ahead of deluxe EP
Philadelphia’s Her New Knife returns today with ‘Vesselera – Silicone Valley: re,’ a haunted and club-ready remix by New York DJ Silicone Valley. The track previews chrome is lullaby: re, the deluxe edition of their acclaimed 2024 EP, arriving October 31, 2025, via Julia’s War Recordings.
The remix transforms the original’s delicate swirls of guitar into pulsating techno landscapes. Silicone Valley draws out hidden acoustic layers, building the track around analog synth tones while giving it a darker, immersive energy fit for the club. This fresh interpretation complements Her New Knife’s growing reputation for sonic experimentation, while previewing what’s to come on the deluxe EP. chrome is lullaby: re will feature additional remixes from TAGABOW, Angel Emoji (Frost Children), Grimace, Red Rakes, and Certain (Sword II). The first physical release will come with remixes featured on the B-side of both vinyl and cassette editions, alongside the digital release.
Atencio explains:
“I met Luc [SILICONE VALLEY] shortly after moving to Philly, and I believe he is a musical genius. The way he writes and arranges his songs is so dynamic- especially the drums. I think having him work on this remix was a no-brainer. Love him forever 1 million.”
‘Vesselera – Silicone Valley: re’ is out now.
