HEALTH release of their latest single and accompanying video, ‘UNLOVED’

The band slows things down as they blend darkness and intrigue in both sound and vision, offering a haunting glimpse into their forthcoming album, RAT WARS.
‘UNLOVED,’ HEALTH’s latest dark and menacing dance track, serves as a tantalizing preview of their fifth studio album, slated for release on December 7th via Loma Vista Recordings. ‘UNLOVED’ follows a sequence of critically acclaimed album singles – ‘ASHAMED,’ ‘CHILDREN OF SORROW,’ ‘SICKO,’ and ‘HATEFUL.’
The song’s ominous yet captivating soundscape is complemented by a goth-inspired visual narrative, directed by Mynxii White. White, backed by archival footage research courtesy of Krystie Jackson, explains the concept behind the video:
“Inspired by the many faces of goth culture across the globe, we celebrate decades of nightlife in the scene with an homage to black leather and heavy eyeliner that defined so many years of the ultimate underground movement. We loved the idea of many generations of goths in one video from multiple countries to bring the visuals together into one epic tribute.”
RAT WARS, HEALTH’s forthcoming album, promises an immersive and introspective sonic journey. Produced by Stint (Oliver Tree, Demi Lovato) and mixed by Lars Stalfors (SALEM, The Neighbourhood) the album merges meticulously aggressive production with intensely personal revelations. Drawing parallels to groundbreaking heavy acts like Nine Inch Nails and Ministry, RAT WARS blends elements of metal, electronic, and pop music to craft a compelling and daring musical narrative.
‘UNLOVED’ is available now, offering a tantalizing glimpse into the forthcoming RAT WARS. Pre-orders for RAT WARS are open for limited edition vinyl, cassette, and more.
