Trailblazing pop duo Goldfrapp have unveiled ‘Beautiful’ (Richard X Rework), a sleek and shimmering reimagining of their 2005 classic, out now via MUTE/BMG. The new release arrives ahead of the 20th Anniversary Deluxe Edition of Supernature, set to drop on November 21, 2025.
The ‘Beautiful’ (Richard X Rework) single finds longtime collaborator Richard X transforming the original into a chrome-plated electro anthem, full of hypnotic tension and precision-tooled production. Known for his ability to merge minimalism with high-gloss pop sensibility, Richard X distills the song’s sensual pulse into a vibrant, club-ready sound that feels both nostalgic and modern. The remix follows recent reworks of ‘You Never Know’ by Alison Goldfrapp and Will Gregory, and ‘Koko’ by Sun’s Signature—the transcendent project of Elizabeth Fraser (Cocteau Twins) and Damon Reece (Massive Attack, Spiritualized)—marking a thrilling moment for fans as the duo revisit their iconic catalogue.
