Gabry Ponte teams up with legendary group Village People to breathe new life into their beloved 1979 anthem with the electrifying new single ‘Frequency (Go West),’ out now via Spinnin’ Records.

Blending the timeless appeal of Village People’s original with Ponte’s unmistakable modern dance energy, ‘Frequency (Go West)’ is a bold rework designed to set dance floors ablaze. The track opens with the instantly recognizable melody of “Go West” before building into a euphoric mix of soul-soaked disco-pop and high-octane electronic beats. The revitalized vocals keep the nostalgic heart intact while elevating the anthem into 2025’s dance anthem territory.

The collaboration arrives as Gabry Ponte prepares to represent San Marino in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel, Switzerland, where he will perform his original track ‘Tutta L’Italia.’ Known for his work as a founding member of Eiffel 65 and global hit ‘Blue (Da Ba Dee),’ Ponte continues to evolve while honoring the classics that shaped pop culture.

‘Frequency (Go West)’ is out now and primed to soundtrack the summer festival season with unifying energy and retro flair.
