Australian artist and producer Fonteray releases ‘Green Viridian’
Fonteray blends old and new on his latest single ‘Green Viridian.’
The last time we heard Fonteray he was embracing the fall season in ‘Sunshine.’ Today, the Australian artist has returned with another relaxed indie-dance track: ‘Green Viridian.’ Co-produced with Michael Belsar, the highly-saturated track blends Fonteray’s love of vintage and modern sounds that has become an essential element of his sound.
Fonteray discussed the how the track initially came about:
“The initial concept for Green Viridian came out of a songwriting challenge I started doing with some friends online during covid as a way to stay connected and creative throughout Melbourne’s extensive lockdowns. The challenges involved having 2-3 hours to produce some music to a specific criteria, theme or utilise a chosen sample.”
