Ducks LTD. make ‘The Main Thing’ the main thing on their latest release.
Urgent, upbeat, and vibrant, Ducks LTD.’s latest track, ‘The Main Thing’ is a study of what a modern power pop track can be if enough effort is put forth. Out via Carpark Records alongside a Colin Medley-directed video, and featuring backing vocals from Dehd’s Jason Balla, the song is the band’s first new music since 2022’s ‘Sheets of Grey.’
“‘The Main Thing’ is about growing apart from someone whose perspective you once shared. Being in lockstep with another person and then suddenly realizing you are no longer aligned. That you’re watching them throw themselves into the same losing battles over and over again, but also recognizing that all that losing might be the right thing to do.”
