Ducks Ltd. drop moody reflection on despair with latest single ‘Heavy Bag’ from forthcoming album
Toronto’s Ducks Ltd. unveil the brooding and contemplative single ‘Heavy Bag,’ marking the final pre-release tease before their eagerly anticipated album Harm’s Way hits the airwaves on February 9th, 2024, via Carpark Records.
Ducks Ltd. doesn’t shy away from exploring the darker facets of the human experience in their latest single, ‘Heavy Bag.’ Singer and lyricist Tom McGreevy discusses the song’s theme, describing it as a contemplation of despair and the unsettling tendency for misery to seek company.
McGreevy shares insight into the creative process, stating:
“We tried to do something we hadn’t done before on this one musically, and had to kind of reverse a lot of our instincts in building the arrangement.”
