Devon Cole – ‘Play House’

Devon Cole puts a cheeky spin on domestic bliss with ‘Play House’

Canadian singer-songwriter Devon Cole returns with her playful new single ‘Play House,’ out now via Arista Records.

The bright, R&B-tinged track arrives on the heels of her 2024 Two Shades Blonder EP and delivers a fresh burst of flirty energy. Full of clever lines and sly innuendo, ‘Play House’ imagines a laid-back, sensual kind of domesticity — one where the dishes can wait and make out takes priority. Over a grooving bed of soulful instrumentation, Cole weaves mundane household references like furniture building and Listerine with romantic spontaneity and her signature lyrical wit.

As Devon puts it:

“‘Play House’ keeps with my other releases because it’s funky, playful, and zesty. I think I’m stepping into a new confidence and it shows. I love how my vocals sound in this song — I’m not trying to be anything or anyone, I’m just being myself. More of that to come!”

With ‘Play House,’ Devon Cole continues to expand her sharp, genre-blurring catalog — confidently playful, and fully herself.
