Daniel Davies shares new single ‘Ghost of the Heart’

The forthcoming album of the same name is set for release on June 21, 2024, via Sacred Bones Records.
Acclaimed musician Daniel Davies has released the title track from his upcoming album Ghost of the Heart. The new single showcases Davies’ talent for blending moody, heavy sounds with strong pop sensibilities and rich melodies.
On his latest track, Davies comments:
“‘Ghost of the Heart’ is about feeling more than meaning. A stream of consciousness. Excitement of the unknown. The joy in danger. The things that shape us based on our past experiences and the burdens we carry.”
On Ghost of the Heart Davies reveals a deep-rooted love for rock music, influenced by forward-thinking bands like Radiohead and Blur. The album represents a blend of his rock-guitarist roots and the synth expertise he developed through his collaborations with John and Cody Carpenter. Recorded throughout 2023 Davies collaborates with longtime friend and collaborator, producer John Spiker, who also plays bass on the record. Drums are performed by Matt Flynn, while Davies handles all other instruments.
‘Ghost of the Heart’ is out now. The forthcoming album of the same name is set for release on June 21, 2024, via Sacred Bones Records.
