Building on the success of previous hits like ‘Monday Morning,’ ‘ihopeoufindsomeone,’ and ‘rainonmyparade,’ cln delivers a fresh blend of indie and alternative pop vibes in ‘Carousel’.

Australian songwriter and producer cln (44 Ardent), unveils his latest single, ‘Carousel’, marking another impressive addition to his repertoire. Inspired by a recent deep dive into 80s music, Callan Alexander, the creative force behind cln, pays homage to the meticulous craftsmanship of iconic artists such as Depeche Mode and Phil Collins, a musical influence passed down by his father.

Here’s Callan discussing the inspiration behind the track:

“I’ve been listening to a lot of 80s music lately, and have been blown away by the attention to detail in some of the songs. My Dad used to play a lot of synth-heavy songs along the lines of Depeche Mode and Phil Collins, and I’ve been revisiting them regularly over the last few years. The mixing and sound design in those songs is absolutely brilliant. So many great synths, the iconic gated drums, and excellent songwriting.

‘Carousel’ is now available on all major streaming platforms.
