An antidote to burnout and my own shortcomings, the song felt like the most expressive, present representation of myself. It was one of those songs that just kind of appeared and listening back in the am with a bit of a clearer head, I didn’t really quite grasp how I’d made it. It’s a song about desire, and working it out with someone who’s meant to be in your life forever. An ode to romance, and commitment, and getting it wrong til it’s right!”
