Exclusive Premiere: Chris Casey releases new single ‘Bodies’ alongside Buried Out Back EP

Savannah-based artist Chris Casey has released his new EP Buried Out Back today via Alamo Records, alongside the breezy, electro-tinged single ‘Bodies’ and its accompanying video.
Serving as the EP’s closing track, ‘Bodies’ carries an energy of triumph and forward momentum. Casey blends hip-hop, rock, and 90s alternative across the project, and with ‘Bodies’ in particular, he captures a feeling of justified confidence. The track stands as a bold statement, closing the record with a sense of promise for what lies ahead.
Casey explains:
“This is probably my favorite song of the whole project. I wrote the whole thing before I really knew if anything would blow up, and now it hits so much harder. I’ve written braggy lines before but this song feels justified, even though everything’s still pretty small with my career right now. I love the energy of that track, and it being the outro gives it an ‘it’s only up from here’ type of vibe.”
‘Bodies’ is out now as well as his Buried Out Back EP.
