Buscabulla tease intimate new album with bass-driven single ‘Miraverahí’

Puerto Rican indie duo Buscabulla return with ‘Miraverahí,’ a syncopated, bass-heavy track that offers a first glimpse into their forthcoming sophomore album, Se Amaba Así, arriving June 13 via Domino.
‘Miraverahí’ is a “thumpy disco track about perceptions changing in a romantic relationship,” says vocalist and co-founder Raquel Berrios. Built around a low-end groove and shimmering production, the song captures the subtle unease of shifting emotional terrain. With a visualizer now streaming on YouTube (and below), the track reflects the duo’s continued exploration of love’s complexities—this time through the metaphor of vision, reflection, and disappearance.
Berrios explains:
“I wanted to play with the concept of vision, reflection, and disappearing to express the angst of trying to regain the loving feeling between two people.”
To celebrate the album release, Buscabulla will embark on a U.S. headline tour beginning June 19 in Miami. Stops include Chicago’s Lincoln Hall (June 28), Los Angeles’ The Belasco (July 3), and a special Puerto Rican pride night at BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! on June 26 in Prospect Park.
‘Miraverahí’ is available now. Buscabulla’s new album Se Amaba Así arrives tomorrow, June 13.
