Blush announces new album and shares dreamy new single ‘X My Heart’

Singapore’s Blush makes a radiant return with their new single ‘X My Heart,’ out now alongside the announcement of their signing to Kanine Records and their forthcoming album Beauty Fades, Pain Lasts Forever, out August 1.
‘X My Heart’ is a shimmering slice of guitar pop, brimming with sunlit tones and catchy melodies. But beneath its sparkling surface lies a melancholic sentiment, best captured in the line: “cross my heart and I hope to die in this sick sad world that’s never mine.” It’s a dynamic that speaks to Blush’s style—where bittersweet emotion and breezy sonics meet. The accompanying video expands on that contrast, descending from wistful infatuation into something more sinister and surreal.
To support the release, Blush has also announced a North American tour this August—their first to include East Coast dates. Joining them for all shows are rising Chicago shoegazers sunshy, while West Coast stops will also feature South Korean-via-Colorado artist Precocious Neophyte. Tickets are on sale now.
With ‘X My Heart,’ Blush delivers a compelling first look at what promises to be a standout dream pop release of the year. Beauty Fades, Pain Lasts Forever arrives August 1 via Kanine Records.
