Black Moth Super Rainbow returns with ‘Unknown Potion,’ a beaming new single that signals their next technicolor chapter and sets the tone for their upcoming LP Soft New Magic Dream, due out June 6th via Rad Cult.
‘Unknown Potion,’ the album’s lead single, captures a blend of vocoder-driven vocals, fractured drum breaks, and ribboning synths in classic BMSR, filtered through a lens of mellow euphoria. Tobacco’s familiar distorted voice floats through the fizzy haze, delivering fawning tenderness and surreal imagery.
