Ballet Mecánico, the new project from Peruvian artist Fernando Pinzás, has released its debut single, ‘No cederé,’ featuring renowned vocalist Susana Fátima.

‘No cederé’ is a bold introduction to Ballet Mecánico’s upcoming album Primera Secuencia, drawing inspiration from 1980s genres like Italo disco, Hi-NRG, and synthpop. The song, driven by Fátima’s dynamic vocals, delivers a message of rebellion against societal pressures and the neoliberal model. Its infectious rhythm and defiant lyrics create a perfect storm for the dance floor, embodying both a nostalgic nod to the past and a statement for the present.

In collaboration with Italoconnection, the remix version of ‘No cederé” adds another layer to the track. The renowned duo Fred Ventura and Paolo Gozzetti, legends in the Italo disco scene, enhance the song’s already pulsating energy with their signature style, expanding its appeal to global dance enthusiasts.

With ‘No cederé’ as the first taste of Primera Secuencia, Ballet Mecánico is set to make waves, blending retro influences with modern-day urgency, proving that music is still a powerful tool for both rebellion and celebration.
