Ax and the Hatchetmen bring the vibes with their new single ‘Love Songs’

Chicago-based indie rock sextet, Ax and the Hatchetmen are back with their latest single, ‘Love Songs,’ out now via Arista Records.
Produced by Jake Sinclair, known for his work with Weezer and Panic! At The Disco, ‘Love Songs’ pays homage to the 60’s classic ‘Oogum Boogum’ by Brenton Wood. The Hatchetmen elevate their sound with this new release, infusing it with a fresh groove and a message of hope. The single’s upbeat tone is a reminder that, as the band puts it, there’s always a light at the end of the tunnel.
Frontman Axel Ellis describes the track as:
“…a carefree tune. It’s a self-reflective walk in the park about the funny and unpredictable ways in which life tends to flow. If the song means anything, I’d hope it’s a little pick-me-up to have fun in life and to try not to take things too seriously.”
‘Love Songs’ is out now.
